Our Laboratory

SFM strives to continuously provide the highest quality products with the support of our internal laboratory. Each batch of ingots used and MG products produced are analysed internally using the following equipments and techniques:
  • ICP Spectrometry (inductively coupled plasma) for wet chemical analysis
  • Fisher subsieve sizer for specific surface area analysis of fine powders
  • Malvern laser granulometer
  • Laboratory sieving and density control
  • Wet chemistry
